Priest Lake~Dalton Gardens~Spokane~The Lake

We slept at Grandma Christian's when we arrived in Coeur D'Alene.  We got Cafe Rio that night and enjoyed it on her front lawn.  The next morning we went to church with Grandma before heading up to the cabin.  I love having family in different places.  It's so fun to visit different areas.  One of my favorite things is to go to church wherever we visit.  I love seeing how people have changed and children have grown since our last visit.  After church we headed over to Spokane briefly, but Joseph was anxious to get to the cabin at Priest Lake so we didn't get to stay long.

This is the first place we lived when we moved to Spokane.  We absolutely LOVED this place, we moved to a less expensive place halfway through law school, but this was a soft landing for us when we first moved away.  It was great to go back to visit and to show Abby where we brought her home from the hospital.  I honestly look back on those days fondly.  I really enjoyed our days in law school.  They were hard, no doubt, but I loved the adventure.  I love things that are adventurous and bring growth.

This is the hospital where Abby and Aaron were born.

This is the apartment we moved to halfway through law school.  It was much simpler than our first place, but we met some great people here.  Our ward was great as well.  We met some wonderful people who have really been great examples and friends to us.

After all of our traveling we finally made it to the cabin and the lake.  The sweet smell of the pine trees was amazing!  It felt so wonderful to be back there.
