Disneyland

When Emily and Baby Stephen came to visit, it gave us the perfect opportunity to go to one of our favorite places...DISNEYLAND. We bought passes at Costco and then upgraded them to annual passes.

San Diego Zoo

We've made great use of our annual membership to the zoo and safari park (formerly wild animal park). It's so nice to have great weather to enjoy these wonderful places.

A Visit from the FamiLEE

Casey and Melissa, along with their little ones, planned a trip to come and visit us. Grandma Shawny decided she would like to bring Uncle Isaac and come along too. It was great having them. We went to Old Town San Diego, Mormon Battalion Visitor's Center, lots of walks through our neighborhood, Torrey Pines State Reserve and Beach, and we finished off with the zoo. It was a great weekend, and a very warm weekend for January. I LOVE the weather here!

Big Bear Snow Camp

Joseph was released from the Young Men's Presidency and called to be the Ward Mission Leader a few months ago. He still went with the Young Men on their winter campout to Big Bear. He was in HEAVEN!!!

Christmas 2010

We had my parents with us until December 23, and they then they headed for Arizona to spend Christmas with Wade and Sara and Sammi. We were all a little disappointed with the weather that mother nature gave us, but we still had a great time visiting with them. Record rainfall for an entire week. The only thing I kept thinking was, "Atleast it's not cold enough to snow."

Christmas morning was relaxing and fun. We had our traditional Quiche and spent the day watching the kids play together and then we headed for the beach.
