We were all very excited for Aaron to join our family. There were lots of exciting things going on the week he was born. Joseph graduated from law school on Saturday, we celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, Aaron was born on Monday, we packed Tuesday through Thursday and moved from Spokane, WA to Utah on Friday. Whew...and we all survived, including Aaron!
On the afternoon of Aaron's birthday Abby took a little nap on the couch. When I looked at her I noticed she had a post-it note stuck to her face. I looked a little closer to see what it said.....
....and then we found another one on the floor of our bedroom.......
.......and another one in front of the front door for Dad. How could we forget with reminders like that!
The night before his birthday, Aaron hauled the scale into the kitchen and climbed on to weigh himself. How convenient, we now know that on his 2nd birthday he weighed 28.8 pounds!
Aaron was pleased with all of the attention he received on his birthday!
Of course he loved watching his favorite movie, "Cars.".
He was fascinated by the cake and birthday candles and even tried to touch them...until we all yelled..."Nooooo!" I think it scared him a little.
Formulating a wish maybe?
Full of excitement!
Taking the first dip...
The sprinkles were pretty appealing!
Aaron doesn't really care for pajamas, but he proudly donned his new "Cars" jammies!
He was very pleased with all of his gifts. Two year olds sure are easy to please.....most of the time!
Happy Birthday Aaron, Aar-Bear, Bubs, B-Bop, Bubbies! Daddy loves the way you do the cheer with our family, Mom loves the way you cuddle with her, Brynn and Abby love the way you smile and run to hug them when they are done with school. We all love you very much and we are so happy you are part of our FamiLee!

Happy 2nd Birthday Aaron! I remember when he was born and how you moved SO quickly. You are wonder woman. Not many woman could say they moved within a week of baving a baby. Aaron is so sweet. Boys are such a joy.
Brynn's little notes are so dang cute. What a great sister to remind everyone of little brothers birthday.
Happy Birthday Aaron. Looks like a fun little party. I love the cake and the jammies.
Happy Birthday Aaron!
Those notes from Brynn were so cute. I am glad you got record of them.
Happy Birthday Aaron, I can't wait to come up and do a little more celebrating this weekend. What a cutie. My favorite picture is that of him peeking out from behind the tree. That smile. It melts my heart away. He is such a cute little boy. May 15th is so appropriate for that little guy. And Brynn's little post it notes are so Brynn. Making sure that everyone is taken care of. What a great couple of sisters he has. Such love. Can't wait to see you this weekend. Love you all soooooooooo..... much. See ya soon! PS That's a darling cake!
Feliz Anniversario! I can't believe he is two years old already. Man time goes by fast. He is darling.
Oh, and I love, love, love the notes that Brynn left for everyone. Especially the one on Abby's head. That made me laugh so hard.
What funny and cute kids you have. I think Kali and Aaron must be close in age, Kali's B-day is May 19th. I love reading your blog.
I remember how crazy that week was! It was so fun picking your mom up at the airport. I could just sense the excitement she had within her as we drove her to the hospital to see you guys. She was such a sweet lady. Aaron is darling and has grown up so much.
Hans did the same thing with trying to touch the candles on his second birthday. We all yelled "no" just like you guys and he got scared too.
A Cars cake and PJs?! That is the greatest. Happy birthday, Aaron!
Oh, and all those notes were a crack up!
