Mr. Mom - Day 2

Joe said they spent lots of time exploring and just taking their time.

On day two of the great adventure with Dad, Brynn had early school, so Aaron and Abby went with Dad to work for a few minutes to take care of some last minute things with the payroll.

When Brynn finished school they headed for the hills! He had lots of plans for hikes and even wanted to take the kids camping, but soon figured out that when you're playing mom you have to make sure that the kids make it to their dance lessons and all the events that might be planned (two birthday parties, in our case).

They did manage to take a hike up to Lake Berryessa before they had to go to dance that afternoon. They all loved it!

Joe got a kick out of watching Abby skipping, hopping, leaping and fluttering around at her dance class. They all enjoyed playing at the Village Homes playground after dance before heading home for dinner.

That night they headed shopping to one of Joseph's favorite stores in town, Marshalls. He loves their great deals. He let the kids each choose a toy and beams with pride each time he sees Aaron pushing the big dump truck he chose around the house. Each time I called home, I could tell he was loving every second of it! Too bad we can't find a sponsor and both be stay at home parents. :)
