When Brynn comes home from school, she will often get right down to business creating something or another. Sometimes it's some kind of craft she's concocted in her mind (remember the anniversary crowns) and sometimes she likes to write stories and make books. Here is her latest work.
We can't get the scanner to connect right now, but here are some photos of the story. Right now she's really into saying, "Will you take a picture of this and put it on the blog so Grandma can see it!" and sometimes when she thinks something really funny happens in our family she says, "You HAVE to put that on the blog! Grandma will think it is so funny!" She loves to call and hear what Grandma has to say about a picture or event. It's such a fun way to stay connected! It seems to condense those miles between us.

That is too cute! And if you do decide to name him Isaac, I really hope that you choose her spelling :)

it really is almost time! we can't wait!!
Brynn's pictures and stories are the best. We likewise can't wait for the arrival of our newest little cousin. For your sake Amy I hope Brynn is right and that little guy will come in October. I think "Izick" of Lance or both great names:)
That story is adorable. Quite the talented author in your family. Thanks for sharing.
Is that not the cutest story I have ever read. I'm so glad you blogged it. Brynn I love that story! I can't wait until your new baby is born. He will be so cute just like you and Abby and Aaron. You have such a beautiful family. I can't wait to come and see you so that we can take care our new baby boy. Brynn, please write me another letter. I love reading your letters. Abby please draw me a picture and be sure to sign your name so that I can show Grandpa your picture. Give Aaron a hug for us. See ya soon!
This story is priceless. I think you should have it made into a real book. You could laminate the pages and have them bound at kinkos or you can take your scanned pictures, download them on Blurb or one of those sites and have them make it into a real book. How many kids are published in first grade? How many unborns have a book all about them?
Priceless.
Really.
My favorite is the very last page! Her personality really shines through her writing.
I agree with sants that you need to make this a reasured keepsake!
What a wonderful story! Well done Brynn. I loved all the illustrations and esp. the inventive spelling. It was perfect.
I can't wait for your new baby to arrive. What a special time that will be for you and your entire family.
This is adorable. A keeper for sure.
