Pumpkin Patch with Great Day Preschool

Ever since Brynn's class attended the Impossible Acres Pumpkin Patch with her class a few weeks ago, Abby has been anxiously awaiting her own trip with her class to a pumpkin patch. One of Abby's friends, who happens to be a member of our church in the other ward in town, has a pumpkin patch of her very own! Her dad owns a commercial tomato farm and he used some of his extra field space to plant her a patch. She shared her patch with her preschool class!

While getting ready in the morning, and the whole way to Abby's school, Aaron kept saying, "Punkin Patch! Punkin Patch!" He was as excited as ever....but the real excitement came when he saw the tractor they placed near the field.

Immediately after getting out of the car, they ran through the patch, falling quite a few times with all of the bumps.
Hmm! So many to choose from. Aaron didn't really have a hard time. He chose a few, and then was off to play. Abby on the other hand ran around and around telling everyone that she couldn't find the perfect pumpkin. I think it had more to do with the fact she was having so much fun running around in the open field.

The highlight of the morning for Aaron was when he got to climb up inside the tractor. He took hold of the steering wheel and I knew it would be a sad scene seconds later when he had to climb down. He did okay, but wanted to stayed very close to the tractor.

We referred to him as "dirt boy" for the rest of the morning. But hey, what does a little dirt hurt?

Fall is definitely never complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch!
