The other day Abby asked what a buffet was. I tried to explain to her that it was a place where there was lots of food for you to choose from and you could eat as much as you wanted. The girls said, "Okay, like Subway, it's a buffet." They didn't really get the idea of eating as much as you wanted. A couple days after that, I was working on the primary program at the computer. I walked into the kitchen and saw Aaron and Isaac helping themselves to all of the ice cream. I called the girls in and told them, "This is kind of like a buffet, see they have different choices and it's all you can eat!"
What a mess! Isaac even stepped on the sticky lid, but it sure made for some happy boys!

are you guys in your new house? your kitchen is loverly!!
No, we aren't in our new house. I need to blog about that, I can't remember if I talked to Wade about it. The current owners haven't paid their private mortage insurance for a year or so. They wanted us to pay it (almost $20,000)and we said no way, so things were basically at a standstill because none of us would budge (the bank, sellers, us) and things weren't moving anywhere, so we backed out. They took it off the market while they worked on some more paperwork and are planning to put it back on soon. We signed another year lease in our current house and we're trying to decide what we want to do. We might want to get something a little bigger, but you can't have it all down here because it's costs so much. It's complicated too because not only are "inexpensive" homes expensive, there are mostly short sales and foreclosures on the market. We're finding it takes forever to get all the details of those sales worked out. We're thinking hard and talking constantly about what we want to do. :/
