We took our 2nd annual trip to Apple Hill in Camino, CA in October. We visited a few of the same farms that we visited last year, with hopes to see a couple of new ones, but we ran out of time. Next year we hope to add a couple more to our route. Rainbow Orchards has been our strategic spot the last 2 years. It's just off one of the exits with far less traffic than some other ones. Last year our friends the Paschoal's told us not to miss their apple cider and apple cider donuts, they were so good, we went back for more this year. The cider was great for drinking and then we took some home to make our pumpkin puff pancakes with apple cider syrup. Freshly pressed cider makes the best cider syrup!

We then headed to another farm that has a hiking trail and we went on a short hike around the forested orchards. It was a beautiful day!

What beautiful pics of your family, sounds like a perfect fall outing. The photos of Brynn for her birthday are just beautiful, she's a lovely girl!
What a fun tradition! I love Fall Food!
Great pictures! You guys are so adventurous and fun! I think fresh cider must be the key ingredient for that syrup. (Which is divine, I bet it's on the menu in Heaven.) Your kids are really getting big!
oh boy!!!! looks like loads of fun and tasty treats!! yummy! we are getting so anxious to see you guys again next week!! yeah! can't come soon enough! sure love ya!
Words cannot describe how jealous I am right now!
I think in general people don't eat enough pies for supper. If they did, maybe all their babies would be as happy as Isaac looks in these pictures. :)
