The Trek to the Temple

Because of a nursing Isaac, going to the temple is quite the trek for our family. We all go over together so that one of us can stay outside with all of the kids and one can go inside and do the work. Now that Isaac is starting to eat a variety of foods, these treks won't be as necessary, but maybe we'll still do them on occasion. The kids always love going to the temple.

I loved Elder Scott's talk on the temple this past conference and smiled when he talked about doing catch up sessions to meet his goal of going weekly to the temple. Now that Isaac and I can be comfortably separated for a few hours at a time, I accept that as permission to do some "catch up" sessions myself! I hope to meet the goal I set at the beginning of the year for temple attendance. I'm behind by a couple. One of these days I will be consistent, but right now it doesn't matter what it is in life, I always seem to be playing catch up!
