Monterey Bay Aquarium

After we spent some time at the beach, we sent Grandma and Grandpa on a little adventure to check out some of the spots that weren't very kid friendly, like all of the shops with breakables. We took the kids to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We took things at their pace and let them take as much or as little time as they wanted at each exhibit. I love the aquarium. It think marine life is so fascinating. I wish I could remember all that we read about when we go there. Brynn and Abby waited very patiently to touch the bat-ray. One of their favorite exhibits is always the live starfish, we always have to remind Abby to leave them in the water. She loves to pull them out and examine eveyr inch of them. This time I learned that on each of their points they have an eye...so usually they have 5 eyes....and their mouths are underneath on their middle. Interesting!
Aaron thought the penguins were pretty funny.

When we went to see the jellyfish, Aaron ran from tank to tank pointing to them all. He was so excited to see them again.

It was a great day at the aquarium!
