We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend together. I am so happy to be a mom. Joseph didn't have meetings until 8:00 on Sunday morning, so that was the best Mother's Day gift of all, someone to help me get everyone ready for church. It was especially nice since I had to give a talk in sacrament meeting and a little thought on visiting teaching during Relief Society. I gave him specific instructions to not make breakfast in bed, because we couldn't be late for church. He listened and I was very grateful!

After a nice dinner we went on a walk in the Village Homes area. Earlier in the week Brynn was playing with her friend Hannah and Hannah told her about how her mom had climbed the tree earlier. Brynn said, "My mom doesn't like to climb trees." I said, "I certainly DO like to climb trees, whatever made you think that I didn't." She told me it was because I never do. I told her it was because I am always holding a baby. Her request for Mother's Day was to have me climb a tree with her. So that's exactly what we did. Not the most appropriate activity for a Sunday afternoon, but hey, I needed someone there to hold Isaac.

Tree climbing! I can't think of a better thing to do on Mothers Day. :)
