This post is dedicated to all of our law school friends. Hopefully you'll get a smile out of it. During Joe's first year of law school we were a one car family, so Joe arranged to ride with Jake Olsen every day to class. Jake was in our ward and lived at our aprartment complex so it worked out well. For anyone who knows Joe even slightly....you have probably observed that he loves to talk.... is very chipper, no matter what time of day it is....and has loads of energy all the time. Well Jake is alot more mellow than Joe and so everyday he would tell his friends that he had his "cup o' Joe" every morning on the way to school. Coming from Utah, we didn't even know what a "cup o' Joe" was until we moved to Washington (where Starbucks originated, in case you didn't know).
While we were in Southern California we saw this shirt at the "Life is Good" stand at the airport. We had to get it, for obvious sentimental reasons.....I hesitate to wear it around town, since it might confuse people who know we are Latter Day Saints....but if any of you see me wearing it, you'll know that I haven't taken up coffee drinking, I have my own kind of "cup o' Joe."

being around joe is always a pick-me-up. especially when he is wearing the yellow sleeveless jersey shown in the previous thread...
Love the shirt. I really wish we would've been able to stay in Spokane all three years. We had such a great year with of the law students. It still makes me miss it just thinking about it.
Reading that brought back memories and it totally made me smile. I remember hearing Jake tell us all at a party about getting his "cup o' Joe" every morning. It's true, you cannot help but be happy around Joe. That is why so many people are drawn to you guys.
Great shirt! Ah, good ol' law school...those were the days.
That is so funny. I don't think I'd ever thought about that before. I could have guessed that a "cup o' joe" is a cup of coffee, but thanks for clarifying.
That little story doesn't surprise me at all. Joe is a great guy. We could all use a cup o' Joe every now and then.
