In April, we added a new member to our family for 10 days. Stephen and Emily spent some time with Stephen's family in Israel and we kept Baby Stephen here. We had a great time, but it was hard work trying to get him used to his new temporary surroundings and family. I spent many nights, late into the night, trying to get him to sleep. He did great during the day, but at night he would cry and cry for his "Mommy-Daddy." Everyone grew to love him so much and we were sad when he left, but it was great for everyone to develop a relationship with him since we spent the first year and a half of his life living far away from him. |

I bet it was tricky! Have you continued to have a closer relationship with him since April? Does he remember the 10 days he spent with you?
