Brynn and M getting ready to get all dolled up. They had to choose a hairstyle and an accessory for their hair. Brynn chose some cute sparkly clips. The hairstyle she chose was called, "Dazzling." Oh my, she was dazzling!
The process involved lots of sparkle, a little make-up and of course the new hair do! A, the birthday girl, broke her arm the day before the party! She is a spunky little gal and was still a great sport.
Brynn was as pleased as can be about her new hair-do. I tried to look closely to watch what they did so that I could attempt to re-create, but I don't think there will be any re-creating of this do, I'm a little challenged in the area of hair and make-up.
She is rather dazzling isn't she? But more importantly, Brynn is very sweet and kind. She was overwhelmed by the treatment and by all of the fun "goodies" she was able to bring home with her.
Brynn was in heaven! She kept saying over and over. "Mom, we HAVE to bring Abby back here! She would LOVE it!" Yes, they would both be in heaven. From the sparkly chairs they sit on, to the shiny heart shaped mirrors they look into, what little girl wouldn't be? Our Brynn definitely thought it was a treat! It was fun for me too!
After, we went to "The Cheesecake Factory" where Brynn was served the largest serving of Strawberry Shortcake I think I've ever seen. After she enjoyed all she could handle, soon-to-be baby-brother and I polished off the rest. It was fun getting to know some of the other moms that Joseph and I see when we take and pick Brynn up from school. We haven't spent much time getting to know, other than that, so this was a good chance. They were all very nice, and of course they all think we're so crazy to be having 4 kids in 7 years. It's perfectly normal to me!
Everyone oohed and ahhed at these cute girls when we walked in. I think they all had a great time looking fancy- shmancy at such a nice restaurantWhen Brynn arrived home, we were happy to see that along with her dazzling new look, she hadn't lost her dazzling sweetness. She opened up her bag of fun and started to split the goods with her sister. She gave Abby a mini-makeover and dolled her up, while telling her all about the wonderful things that went on at "Libby Lu." More than a few times I heard her say to Abby, "Abby, I can't wait to take you there! You will LOVE it!"
After the party, Brynn and I ran a few errands together. It was fun to walk hand in hand and have some one on one time with her. I can't believe my firstborn is almost 7 years old. Time passes too quickly!

What a great place! (I am sure that I do not want to know how much it cost!) That looks like a dream come true for every little girl I know.
This is my favorite website for hair ideas: http://shedoeshair.blogspot.com. I get lots of great ideas and she explains how to do it. If you have a willing (patient) subject you can learn how to some fabulous dos.
Thank you for your thoughtful comments on my blog!
It looks like little girl "heaven". What fun!! Strawberry Shortcake from the Cheesecake Factory is my absolute favorite. I hate to admit that I've been known to polish the whole thing off by myself a time or two. Yummy!!
That looks like every little girls dream. Okay and us big girls too. I want to be invited to a birthday party like that. What could be better than having your hair and makeup done followed by Cheesecake Factory?! Let's do it, Amy I think your birthday is the next one!
Holy cow. The people who created that place must have had a family of little girls. That's just adorable! And to top it off, she shared her stuff with Abby. That's so sweet!
What a fun place! I would seriously think I would have died and gone to heaven when I was that age! Good thing you had the camera!
So adorable. We've been calling Libby "Libby Loo" since she was born, so I'm chuckling about the name - and she'd love that place, too.
How fun! I have to admit when I read your comment about 4 kids in seven years I thought that sounded REALLY close together, then I realized Erick will still be six when our fourth is born, too! WOW, that's a lot of kids! You look so great - good luck this last month or so! I'm with you on the inductions, it's so CALM, and nice for mom to be there, but it will all work out!
