Christmas Eve-Eve

On the eve before Christmas Eve, Traci planned a potato bar with a visit from Santa and we hosted it at our house. At first I was totally stressed out about it, because I had so much to do in order to get ready for my parent's arrival and Christmas. We ended up having lots of fun, and I'm glad that things worked out. We had a group of about 20 of us. The Ellis Family, The Peart Family, The Martinez Family, Brother Wren, and our missionaries Elder Sorenson and Elder Rowlands.

We don't make an effort to go see Santa during the holidays, but we aren't opposed to a little Santa time if we bump into him. The kids were surprisingly okay with his visit. It was quite cute!

Let's see if I can remember what everyone's wishes were for....Brynn's was for Jasmine and Pocahontas dolls, Abby's was for an Ariel doll, Aaron's was for a ball, Elder Sorenson's was for a new companion (jokingly, of course, ironically he did get a new one this week), Elder Rowlands was for more referrals, Brother Wren's was for a new wife (his first one passed away a little over a year ago), Joseph's was for more of the right kind of patients, mine was for a new piano....it doesn't hurt to dream. :)
