I think what she really meant is that she wouldn't be alive today if her Grandpa hadn't found them. There is no way they would have survived 3 hours in that car. They were probably in the car anywhere from 5-15 minutes, not three hours. Three hours, they literally would have been dead. When my dad went back to work, he went in and got a thermometer and brought it out. It was 124 degrees inside the car and that was after a few minutes of him driving in it (probably with the AC on). One of the scariest days of my life.
